I believe that the essence of architecture is based on two principles: architecture must be easily comprehended and remembered, and it must satisfy man's need for orientation and identification. As an architect, I want to nurture these principles by developing design concepts which both satisfy and shelter human curiosity. I believe that it is our curious nature which brings life and energy to buildings.

Architecture plays a very important role in our culture. It establishes a real sense of space and time and gives us an identity. Through proper interpretation of the landscape and manipulation of space, architecture reveals the true definition of place. Buildings provide a sense of meaning in terms of their qualities, location and the memories which are connected to them.

My task as an architect is therefore understood to be the visualization of the world. My responsibilities are to reveal the structural properties of the site and add elements that are lacking so that it becomes a true place. I am dedicated to these architectural principles and believe that my strong work ethic and commitment to achieving these goals, can produce designs that embody the true nature of architecture.
